The medical world describes side effects as a negative or unintended effect. In foot zoning, you may also experience unintended effects although most would not call them negative. Some examples of unintended/side effects could be a feeling of lightness, wanting to sleep afterwards, wanting to drink water, or your baby might have a blowout (ok, so that one could be seen as negative).
I had a really bizarre side effect after getting a foot zone a few years back. I scheduled a foot zone with a fellow colleague and was enjoying the treatment the whole time. Nothing big stood out as she worked on me. If fact, I am not sure we even talked about much of what the signals were doing. I just knew she was opening up things that needed to be open. After the foot zone was complete I picked up my stuff and drove home. As soon as I got home I felt a strong desire to clean! Now I do clean my house. It stays pretty neat and tidy, but dusting and moving furniture kind of cleaning only happens when I force myself. Well not today. I was happy and excited to clean. I started moving furniture, dusting in and on top of book shelves, dusting fans, and many other deep cleaning items. I didn’t even realize how much I was cleaning until my husband came home, saw me on a latter cleaning and remarked, “Wow! What has gotten into you!”
That question took me back a bit and I realized that I had been cleaning for hours and felt great. I then connected the foot zone to my cleaning. So I told him, “I got foot zoned today.” Then he understood. 🙂 I wish I could get that side effect every time I get foot zoned. My kids would love me, because then I wouldn’t make them help me with all the deep cleaning. haha
